TD Beam by Tom Dixon & Lindholdt Studio

Ekoij is very pleased to have won the EDIDA price 2011 - 2012 in the kitchen category.
The kitchen is design by Tom Dixon and the design duo from Lindholdt Studio,
Flemming & Martin Lindholdt Madsen.

Ekoij and the designers started up the design process in the spring 2009.
The basic idea was to make a kitchen around fire earth water and air.
The materials is iron beams, brass, aggregate concrete, and natural wood.
The kitchen is centered around a solid iron beam, all functions is mounted to the beam,
with flexible fixing points.



TD Beam is in perfect balance between heavy materials and shape.
The kitchen is all about materials, but at the same time light and touchable.
